Onion Chapati

onion chapati

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 sp Oil for dough mixing
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • 4 sp Oil / ghee for Chapati frying

Preparation :

  • Take wheat flour into a bowl and add above ingredients and mix well.
  • Add enough water and make a soft dough and keep it aside for 15 to 20 mins with cover.
  • Divide the dough into lime size balls. Flatten one ball of the dough with your hand.
  • Sprinkle some flour and then roll it out into a thin chapati.
  • Heat a griddle, when it hot cook chapati on both sides with oil / ghee.
  • Now onion chapati is ready to serve, serve with chutney or fresh curd.
