Sweet Samosa Diwali Sweet
Ingredients :
- 1 cup All purpose Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 sp Ghee
- Oil for deep fry
For Stuffing :
- 3/4 cup Sweet Kova / Khoya
- 2 or 3 sp chopped Dry Fruits
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
Preparation :
- Take a bowl and add plain flour, ghee, salt and mix it well.
- Add water little by little and make it as a smooth dough and keep aside.
- Mix all the stuffing ingredients together in a bowl and keep aside.
- Make the dough into small balls and make the balls into small puries.
- Cut the round into half each half makes one samosa.
- Add one spoon of stuffing on one piece and fold it into triangle.
- Apply a little water on the edges and press together to seal the edges.
- Form all the samosas in the same way and carefully keep them aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add samosas into the hot oil and fry.
- Fry them on both sides till they are light golden brown in color.
- Take 1/2 cup of water in a pan and add sugar and let it boil.
- Make the syrup into one string consistency and add fried samosa into sugar syrup.
- Soak it for 1 sec on both sides and keep aside. Now sweet samosas are ready.
- Garnish with chopped dry fruits and let them cool for a bit before serving.
