Cabbage Moong Dal Curry / Cabbage Pesara Pappu Podi Kura

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup chopped Cabbage
  • 2 sp Moong Dal
  • 2 sp grated Fresh Coconut
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste

For Popu :

  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Preparation :

  • Wash & cook cabbage, moong dal along with salt and turmeric powder and strain.
  • Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry for about 2 mins.
  • Once done add curry leaves and cooked cabbage mixture and mix well.
  • Add grated coconut, red chilli powder and stir well.
  • Continue to cook for another 2 mins and then turn off the flame.
  • Cabbage moong dal curry is ready to serve, serve hot with rice and roti.
