Cabbage Moong Dal Curry / Cabbage Pesara Pappu Podi Kura
Ingredients :
- 1 cup chopped Cabbage
- 2 sp Moong Dal
- 2 sp grated Fresh Coconut
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
For Popu :
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 2 sp Oil
Preparation :
- Wash & cook cabbage, moong dal along with salt and turmeric powder and strain.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry for about 2 mins.
- Once done add curry leaves and cooked cabbage mixture and mix well.
- Add grated coconut, red chilli powder and stir well.
- Continue to cook for another 2 mins and then turn off the flame.
- Cabbage moong dal curry is ready to serve, serve hot with rice and roti.
