Urad Dal Dumplings / Small Minapa Bonda
Ingredients :
- 1 cup Urad Dal
- few Fresh Coconut Pieces
- 1/4 sp crushed Black Pepper
- 1 Green Chilli finely chopped
- chopped Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Preparation :
- Wash and soak urad dal for 2 hours & grind into a fine paste adding as little water.
- In a mixing bowl combine urad dal batter, coconut pieces, salt, pepper powder and mix.
- Add chopped curry leaves, chopped green chillies & mix thoroughly, now the batter is ready.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, take a small lemon sized batter & drop into hot oil.
- Fry them until golden brown in color, remove from the pan & drain them on a paper towel.
- Now minapa bondalu are ready to serve, serve hot with chutney.
