Coconut Sweet Poha / Rice Flakes
Ingredients :
- 1 cup Thick Poha / Atukulu
- 1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- few Dry Fruits (optional)
Preparation :
- Wash and soak beaten rice with enough hot water and keep aside.
- Take 1/2 cup water in a pan add sugar and let it boil.
- Cook over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add grated coconut, elaichi powder and stir till all the syrup is absorbed.
- Now mix the soaked rice flakes with the coconut mixture & mix well.
- Cook for a couple of mins and then remove from heat.
- Now coconut sweet poha is ready, let it rest for 5 to 10 mins and serve.
