Coconut Sweet Poha / Rice Flakes



Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Thick Poha / Atukulu
  • 1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • few Dry Fruits (optional)

Preparation :

  • Wash and soak beaten rice with enough hot water and keep aside.
  • Take 1/2 cup water in a pan add sugar and let it boil.
  • Cook over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add grated coconut, elaichi powder and stir till all the syrup is absorbed.
  • Now mix the soaked rice flakes with the coconut mixture & mix well.
  • Cook for a couple of mins and then remove from heat.
  • Now coconut sweet poha is ready, let it rest for 5 to 10 mins and serve.
