Sweet Samosa Diwali Sweet

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup All purpose Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • Oil for deep fry

For Stuffing :

  • 3/4 cup Sweet Kova / Khoya 
  • 2 or 3 sp chopped Dry Fruits
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder

Preparation :

  • Take a bowl and add plain flour, ghee, salt and mix it well.
  • Add water little by little and make it as a smooth dough and keep aside.
  • Mix all the stuffing ingredients together in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Make the dough into small balls and make the balls into small puries.
  • Cut the round into half each half makes one samosa.
  • Add one spoon of stuffing on one piece and fold it into triangle.
  • Apply a little water on the edges and press together to seal the edges.
  • Form all the samosas in the same way and carefully keep them aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add samosas into the hot oil and fry.
  • Fry them on both sides till they are light golden brown in color.
  • Take 1/2 cup of water in a pan and add sugar and let it boil.
  • Make the syrup into one string consistency and add fried samosa into sugar syrup.
  • Soak it for 1 sec on both sides and keep aside. Now sweet samosas are ready.
  • Garnish with chopped dry fruits and let them cool for a bit before serving.
